Good evening St. Anselm Families,

This is Mrs. Kraetke, principal of St. Anselm Catholic School! Here are your reminders and updates for the week! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

We will kick off the new school year with Back to School Night on Monday, August 22 at 5:30 until 7:00. Please meet in church. All parents and students are welcome. After I speak, parents and students will head outdoors to meet their teachers. In the event of rain, we will go inside, into the classrooms until 7:00.

Our Moms/Dads Club will be selling pizza and baked goods. Consider supporting the Moms/Dads Club by purchasing some items!

Remember that it is incredibly important to attend Back to School Night. I will share tons of information, as will all of our teachers and staff. We hope to see you there!

Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 23. We start at 7:45 and dismissal will be at 11:30. There is no latchkey on the first day of school. Students do not need lunches, but will need snacks and water bottles. Students are welcome to dress up on the first day of school! Send backpacks, school supplies, summer reading and summer math!

The rest of the week will be in regular uniform. Our preschool, pre-k and kindergarten students will have 11:30 dismissals all week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). They do not wear uniforms. They wear play clothes each day. Grades 1-8 wear uniforms and will have a 3:00 dismissal each day. Students in grades 1-8 will need packed lunches.

Latchkey will run from 11:30 until 6:00 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week.

Be sure to send in all back to school forms from the summer packet. Those forms should be turned in on Tuesday. This includes the hot lunch form with payment.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday evening, and I look forward to a wonderful school year. Have a great night! Go Stags!
